
Javvy Coffee - Concept Design
Developed a scalable packaging system extension for Javvy Coffee, introducing a structured jar and carton format that reinforces brand hierarchy, enhances retail and digital presence, and supports future product expansion.
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Javvy is a specialty coffee brand known for convenient, high-quality protein coffee blends. This packaging concept explores a premium brand extension designed to elevate product presentation while maintaining alignment with Javvy’s established visual identity.
The project centers on expanding the brand into a more structured, shelf-forward format that reinforces quality, energy, and modern appeal across both physical retail and digital marketplaces.

DESIGN PROCESS:
Following an analysis of Javvy’s existing product line and competitive landscape, an opportunity was identified to extend the brand into a more dimensional, premium packaging format. The goal was to elevate shelf impact while preserving recognizable brand equity.
The concept, titled The Javvy Jar, introduces a refined logo extension and supporting tagline, “Sip Pure, Live Powerful.” Core brand elements were retained while modernizing structure and presentation to improve clarity and perceived value.
The system pairs a cylindrical jar with a structured outer carton to create dimensional contrast and retail presence. The black and purple palette reinforces sophistication and energy, while high-contrast white typography establishes clear hierarchy and legibility.
Subtle star and coffee bean accents were integrated to maintain brand personality without compromising clarity or premium positioning.
PRODUCTION & EXECUTION
The packaging architecture was developed with production considerations in mind, including structured label hierarchy, print-safe margins, and dieline-ready layout planning for both the cylindrical jar label and outer carton.
Label systems were designed to align with standard packaging dielines, ensuring adaptability for print production and scalability across future SKUs.
High-fidelity mockups were created to evaluate shelf impact and confirm that the packaging translated effectively across retail simulations and digital marketplace environments.
CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS:
A primary challenge was extending Javvy’s visual identity without disrupting established brand recognition. The solution focused on preserving core brand elements while refining structure and hierarchy to elevate overall perception.
Another consideration was ensuring seamless translation between physical packaging and digital presentation. Multiple mockup environments were used to confirm readability, contrast, and clarity across retail and e-commerce applications.
RESULTS:
The final concept delivers a cohesive packaging extension that strengthens brand hierarchy and enhances dimensional presence while remaining aligned with Javvy’s established identity.
By introducing a scalable packaging architecture, the system supports future product variations and reinforces Javvy’s positioning within the premium coffee category.
