PROJECT OVERVIEW

Javvy Coffee has built strong recognition through convenience and functionality, but its packaging system presented an opportunity for stronger countertop visibility and premium positioning.


This concept explores The Javvy Jar—a reusable vessel and supporting packaging system designed to increase perceived value, strengthen brand recognition, and establish a scalable foundation for future product expansion.


Rather than functioning as disposable packaging, the concept reimagines the product as a persistent brand touchpoint designed to live visibly within a customer’s daily coffee ritual.


THE OPPORTUNITY

The concept was designed to address three key brand opportunities:

Increase Countertop Visibility

Transform the product from pantry storage into a premium object customers would want to display.

Strengthen Brand Recognition

Extend Javvy’s recognizable visual identity into a more dimensional, premium packaging system.

Build for Scalability

Create a modular architecture capable of supporting future SKUs, subscription experiences, accessories, and retail expansion.


CREATIVE DIRECTION

The visual system expands on Javvy’s recognizable black-and-purple palette while introducing stronger hierarchy, improved shelf presence, and a more elevated countertop aesthetic.


A reusable cylindrical vessel paired with a structured outer carton creates stronger dimensional contrast and a premium unboxing experience. High-contrast typography, functional iconography, and modular wrap graphics were developed to reinforce clarity while supporting future brand growth.


The system was intentionally designed to evolve the brand without sacrificing familiarity—refining rather than reinventing Javvy’s visual identity.


PACKAGING SYSTEM

The concept extends beyond a single package into a scalable brand ecosystem designed for repeat use and long-term visibility.

Structural Carton Design A premium secondary package developed to enhance shelf presence, product hierarchy, and unboxing experience.

360° Label Architecture A modular wrap system designed for consistency across multiple viewing angles and future product variations.

Interior Brand Experience Custom printed packaging introduces an elevated unboxing moment while reinforcing brand personality.


OMNICHANNEL BRAND EXPERIENCE

To demonstrate ecosystem thinking, the packaging system was extended into Javvy’s broader digital environment, showing how physical packaging and e-commerce can work together to reinforce consistency, retention, and perceived value.


Mockups were created to evaluate countertop presence, digital merchandising, subscription potential, and cohesive brand storytelling across desktop and mobile touchpoints.


OUTCOME & BRAND IMPACT

While conceptual in nature, The Javvy Jar demonstrates how Javvy could evolve into a more premium, lifestyle-oriented brand experience while maintaining recognizability and accessibility.


The proposed system supports:

  • Stronger countertop visibility through repeat-use packaging

  • Higher perceived value via premium presentation
