TAYLOR AGOSTINO GROUP - SHRED DAY

Taylor Agostino Group (TAG) is a real estate agency in the DMV area that hosts an annual Shred Day event where residents can safely dispose of sensitive documents. They were in need of an ad campaign that would promote their services and generate more leads.

CLIENT BACKGROUND:


Taylor Agostino Group (TAG) is a real estate agency in the DMV area that hosts an annual Shred Day event where residents can safely dispose of sensitive documents. They approached us to design an ad campaign for their upcoming Shred Day event that would promote their services and generate more leads. The ad campaign included posters, a full-page magazine ad, oversized postcard, social media post, and e-blast.


PROJECT SCOPE:


As the lead designer, I was responsible for designing all the ad campaign pieces. The scope of the project included research and analysis, creative concepting, visual design, and production.


DISCOVERY PHASE:


We began the project by conducting research and analysis of the client’s industry, competitors, and target audience. We also conducted a brand workshop with the client to gather insights into their values, mission, and vision.


CREATIVE CONCEPTING PHASE:


Based on my research and insights, we developed several creative concepts that conveyed the client’s brand image and appealed to the target audience. We presented these concepts to the client and received feedback on their preferences and suggestions for revisions.


DESIGN AND PRODUCTION PHASE:


Once the design was finalized, we began the production process for all the ad campaign pieces. For the posters, we created a design that was eye-catching and featured bold typography and bright colors. We also included key information about the Shred Day event, such as the date, time, and location.


For the full-page magazine ad, we developed a layout that was clean and professional. We included an image of one of Taylor Agostino Group’s real estate agents and a brief message that highlighted the benefits of attending the Shred Day event.


For the oversized postcard, we created a design that was bold and eye-catching. We used a bright color palette and featured an image of a paper shredder. We also included a brief message that highlighted the importance of securely disposing of sensitive documents and invited people to attend the Shred Day event.


For the social media post, we developed a graphic that was optimized for different platforms and formats. The graphic featured an image of the Shred Day event and a message that emphasized the benefits of attending and working with Taylor Agostino Group.


For the e-blast, we developed a design that was clean and simple. We used a color palette that matched the rest of the ad campaign and included a brief message that highlighted the Shred Day event and invited readers to attend.


RESULTS:


The ad campaign was successful in generating interest and attendance for the Shred Day event. The posters were effective in generating local awareness and driving foot traffic to the event. The full-page magazine ad and oversized postcard were successful in generating leads and driving traffic to Taylor Agostino Group’s website.

The social media post and e-blast were also effective in generating engagement and attracting new leads. They helped reinforce Taylor Agostino Group’s brand image and emphasized the benefits of working with them.


LESSONS LEARNED:


Through this project, we learned the importance of developing a comprehensive ad campaign that includes multiple pieces to reach a broader audience. We also learned the importance of collaborating closely with the client to ensure that their values, mission, and vision were reflected in the ad campaign. Finally, we learned the importance of conducting extensive research and analysis to understand the target audience and develop creative concepts that appeal to them.
