PROJECT SNAPSHOT

Timeline: 2023

Role: Brand Strategy • Creative Direction • Identity Systems • Website Design

Scope: Brand Identity • Website Redesign • Marketing Collateral • Promotional Systems • Anniversary Branding

Focus: Brand modernization, founder storytelling, scalable visual systems, cross-channel consistency

OVERVIEW

ADC Management Solutions, a women- and minority-owned consulting firm specializing in workforce development, talent strategy, and organizational transformation, was entering a new phase of growth.

As the company expanded its services and evolved its positioning, its visual identity no longer reflected the sophistication of its expertise or the scale of its ambition. The challenge extended beyond refreshing a logo—it required transforming a fragmented identity into a more cohesive, future-facing brand ecosystem while preserving the founder story and organizational values that made the company distinct.

THE CHALLENGE

ADC had built strong credibility through relationships and results, but its brand ecosystem had evolved organically over time.

The existing identity felt visually fragmented, with inconsistent execution across marketing materials, business collateral, and digital touchpoints. The original logo, while meaningful to the founder, lacked scalability and modern distinction in an increasingly competitive consulting landscape.

At the same time, the organization was entering a new phase of growth—expanding service offerings, broadening audience reach, and celebrating its 20-year milestone.

The challenge became:

How do you modernize a founder-led brand without losing the emotional meaning and trust already embedded within it?

DISCOVERY & STRATEGIC APPROACH

Rather than treating the project as a surface-level rebrand, I approached it as a brand evolution exercise rooted in story, symbolism, and scalability.

During discovery, I uncovered a meaningful connection between ADC’s origins and the symbolism of the Aspen tree—an emblem tied to the founder’s family legacy, resilience, mentorship, and long-term growth.

Instead of abandoning that equity, I reframed it into a more strategic and recognizable visual system.

The objective was to create a brand that could:

  • Feel modern and credible within the consulting and workforce development space

  • Preserve founder meaning and emotional equity

  • Scale consistently across digital, print, promotional, and environmental touchpoints

  • Support future growth without requiring reinvention

THE SOLUTION

Reimagining the Brand Identity

I transformed the Aspen symbolism into an ownable visual language that became the foundation of the new identity system.

The redesigned logo modernized the mark while preserving its emotional roots—balancing professionalism with warmth and organizational purpose.

A more intentional color system introduced stronger energy, visibility, and differentiation while maintaining trust and authority appropriate for a consulting brand.

The result was an identity that felt simultaneously more human, more strategic, and more scalable.

BUILDING A CONNECTED BRAND SYSTEM

The engagement evolved beyond identity redesign into the development of a connected brand ecosystem designed to create greater consistency, recognition, and trust across every audience touchpoint.

Brand Identity System

  • Primary and secondary logos

  • Anniversary identity system

  • Color palette and typography framework

  • Brand standards and usage guidelines

  • Digital iconography and favicon system

Marketing & Business Development

  • Business collateral and correspondence systems

  • One-sheet marketing materials and informational leave-behinds

  • Promotional merchandise and event materials

  • Social and branded communication assets

Digital Experience

  • Complete website redesign and visual modernization

  • Improved visual consistency between physical and digital touchpoints

  • Stronger alignment between service positioning and user experience

STRATEGIC IMPACT

Elevated Brand Perception

Shifted ADC from a visually dated identity to a more polished, credible, and future-facing consulting brand.

Founder-Aligned Transformation

Modernized the organization without sacrificing the emotional meaning tied to its history and values.

Scalable Brand Architecture

Created a flexible visual system capable of supporting future growth, expanded services, and evolving communication needs.

Cross-Channel Consistency

Unified branding across print, promotional, and digital environments to create a stronger, more recognizable customer experience.

MY ROLE

Lead Brand Designer / Creative Partner

I led the brand evolution from strategy through execution, including:

  • Brand positioning & visual strategy

  • Identity redesign & systems thinking

  • Website design & digital experience

  • Marketing collateral systems

  • Promotional and anniversary branding

  • Production-ready asset creation across channels

OUTCOME

The rebrand repositioned ADC Management Solutions with a more cohesive and scalable brand presence that better reflected the organization’s evolution and long-term ambitions.

By transforming a fragmented identity into a connected visual ecosystem, the new system improved consistency across digital, print, and promotional touchpoints—creating a more polished and credible experience for clients, partners, and stakeholders.

The updated brand architecture established a stronger foundation for growth. Rather than requiring one-off design decisions, ADC gained a flexible visual system capable of supporting future service expansion, anniversary initiatives, business development efforts, and evolving communications needs.

The success of the engagement also strengthened long-term creative trust, ultimately leading to additional strategic work through ADC—including the opportunity to develop the brand ecosystem for FitJoy, a related wellness initiative. This evolution reflected a shift from project-based execution to trusted creative partnership.

More importantly, the project demonstrated how thoughtful brand evolution can modernize perception without sacrificing trust—preserving founder meaning while creating a more scalable, future-ready organization.

Key Outcomes

  • Unified brand presence across web, print, collateral, and promotional materials

  • Modernized perception while preserving founder equity and brand story

  • Established scalable identity system for future organizational growth

  • Expanded creative partnership resulting in additional ecosystem branding work (FitJoy)

  • Strengthened consistency between marketing, digital, and business development touchpoints
